Work Environment\n

This role is a unique blend of in-home and outpatient care, allowing you to have direct interaction with clients in their communities while also utilizing our outpatient office for therapy sessions. As a fully remote position, you will maintain a flexible work schedule, primarily during after-school hours from 4 PM to 7 PM, with additional weekend hours available. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy sessions either at the client's residence or through our outpatient services, ensuring a tailored approach to each child's unique needs.

• Provide targeted interventions focusing on anger management, coping strategies, and social skills enhancement, while actively working to reduce high-risk behaviors such as self-injurious actions or aggression.
\n
• Strengthen adolescents' and caregivers' decision-making capabilities to better manage behavioral concerns within their home environment.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Ensure meticulous completion and timely submission of documentation, including intake assessments, treatment objectives, and session progress notes.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights and recommendations for improved client support and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position is focused on providing therapeutic support primarily to children and adolescents aged 3–20 who experience developmental disabilities or intellectual disorders (I/DD). You will work closely with families to navigate complex emotional landscapes, aiming to empower them through various therapeutic interventions and education.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Florida.
\n
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 5–10 hours per week during peak hours and potential weekend availability.
\n
• A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes or community events.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience in providing positive behavior support and implementing behavioral interventions optimally.

• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with children who have intellectual disabilities or developmental challenges.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly preferred to meet the diverse needs of our client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n
