Work Environment

This position is based in a fast-paced hospital environment where you will be on-site, working closely with other nursing staff, physicians, and allied health professionals. The work schedule typically involves 12-hour shifts, which allows for a total of approximately 36 to 40 hours per week. Your rotating schedule will ensure that our hospital's patient care services maintain 24/7 availability, supporting a work-life balance that respects both professional obligations and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments to diagnose patients with a variety of medical conditions, including both acute illnesses and chronic diseases.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and oversee evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and laboratory tests judiciously; order, interpret results, and prescribe medications or therapies as required.
• Educate patients and their families about health management strategies, medication adherence, and follow-up care to ensure sustained health improvements.
• Engage in interdisciplinary discussions and rounds to actively participate in patient care decision-making processes, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner certification in the state of New York.
• An active, unrestricted nursing license.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's Degree.
• Minimum of four years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with patients and team members alike.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 220,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
