Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children with developmental delays or disabilities to inform tailored therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) alongside a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
\n
• Monitor client progress by ensuring outcomes are tracked and documented meticulously, and adjust interventions as needed based on family feedback and developmental milestones.
\n
• Provide ongoing support to families, equipping them with evidence-based strategies and resources to enhance their child’s developmental growth.
\n
• Develop strong rapport with children and their families, creating a safe and nurturing environment to facilitate effective learning.
\n
• Utilize the coaching model and natural environment teaching to promote child and family engagement in developmental activities.
\n
• Adhere to all applicable Federal and State regulations ensuring health and safety standards are upheld at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with pediatric populations, focusing on babies and toddlers who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. Our Children's Services aim to support families during the critical early years of a child’s life, fostering skills in areas such as physical development, cognitive understanding, social-emotional growth, and communication abilities. This position directly impacts the lives of young children and their families as you guide them through essential developmental transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, with a current LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
