This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our LCSWs to connect with families and collaborate with healthcare professionals from the comfort of their own space. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities or developmental delays.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child's unique situation.

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and external service providers to monitor outcomes and ensure service efficacy.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop rapport with children and families, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Facilitate family coaching and provide resources to enhance children's developmental milestones, utilizing the Natural Learning Environment Practices.

• Maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations pertaining to social work and early intervention support.

• Emphasize the importance of teamwork, contributing to the overall mission of Highland Counseling Services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of our LCSWs is on pediatric patients, particularly those in hospice care who may be facing serious illnesses or developmental challenges. These children often require specialized attention and support throughout their formative years. The LCSW will work closely with families, offering a tailored approach to meet diverse needs and ensuring children have access to essential resources that promote healthy development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Must hold a current LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health.
