Role Overview
Provide high-stakes US legal expertise to create, review, and refine real-world legal content that helps train next-generation AI systems. Work remotely as a contractor on customer projects, applying your Vault Law 100 firm experience to shape how models learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a variety of US law topics, delivering nuanced, practical insights.
- Perform in-depth legal research to ensure project materials reflect current and accurate law.
- Draft, review, and edit legal documents such as memoranda, opinions, contracts, and related materials.
- Assess and provide structured feedback on legal texts for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best practices.
- Participate in remote, multidisciplinary collaboration to refine deliverables and resolve complex legal scenarios.
- Contribute to content quality assurance by identifying errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in legal materials.
- Apply meticulous attention to detail to maintain exceptionally high standards in all submissions.
- Mandatory experience working at one or more Vault Law 100 firms, demonstrating top-tier legal training and exposure to sophisticated matters.
- Proven abilities in legal analysis, legal research, and legal drafting across a range of subjects.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in legal content review.
- Track record of successful remote collaboration and participation in multidisciplinary projects.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and rubric-based evaluation of legal documents is a plus.
- Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to precision, accuracy, and legal best practices.
- Engagement type: Contractor.
- Location: Fully remote, US-based contributors only.
- Assignments are project-based, supporting a customer project and focused on producing high-quality training and evaluation data for AI systems.
- No prior AI experience required; subject-matter expertise from Vault Law 100 training is the primary qualification.
Pay range: $140 to $400 per hour, paid on an hourly basis.
Eligibility- Applicants must be US-based legal professionals.
- Experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms is required.
- An active license to practice law in the United States is strongly preferred.
