Regular virtual meetings will be held to discuss case plans, lead group therapy sessions, and ensure that all team members are aligned on treatment protocols. We leverage advanced electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to streamline our processes and enhance our client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and document each case from the first consultation through to treatment completion, ensuring a complete understanding of clients' histories.
\n
• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, applying evidence-based practices to standardize findings.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on assessed needs.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions using various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused approaches.
\n
• Monitor and assess clients' progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to enhance effectiveness.
\n
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow mental health specialists.
\n
• Ensure proactive follow-up with healthcare providers for clients who require hospitalization, providing continuity of care.
\n
• Support families and primary caregivers by equipping them with skills to manage mental health challenges within their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds with unique mental health needs. You will work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other behavioral health issues. Your focus will be on providing empathetic and culturally competent care that is responsive to each client's circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing proven therapeutic effectiveness.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR.

• Experience managing clients with co-occurring disorders, including both behavioral health and physical health conditions.

• A solid understanding of addiction issues and their implications on mental health.

• Familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with exceptional interpersonal abilities to foster trust and rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
