Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, strengths, and opportunities for growth.

• Provide individualized therapy, including one-on-one, family, and group sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.

• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that reflect clients' specific goals and therapeutic needs, ensuring a personalized approach to each case.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive client care.

• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessments to safeguard client welfare, including crisis management and safety planning when necessary.

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations, maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, educational workshops, and support groups to promote communal healing and shared experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse client base, often facing complex challenges related to mental health issues in the context of substance detoxification. You will provide empathetic support for individuals navigating recovery journeys, assisting them in overcoming barriers to their mental health and fostering a sense of community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
