Work Environment\n

This role allows for remote work, providing you with the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your home while keeping patient convenience and accessibility in mind. Our structure promotes a collaborative atmosphere, encouraging communication and support among team members through regular video meetings and virtual consultations. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs, strengths, and goals of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Formulate personalized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based approaches and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual circumstances.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that emphasize motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) methods, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that offer peer support and shared experiences, reinforcing the recovery process among participants.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive treatment and coordinated care.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention during substance-related emergencies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on individuals experiencing substance use disorders, encompassing a diverse client base ranging from young adults to older populations. Our approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the complexities associated with addiction, and we aim to provide holistic care that addresses both the psychological and social dimensions of recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid professional license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist in the state of California.
\n
• Strong understanding and knowledge of substance use disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment models.

• Demonstrated experience facilitating individual and group therapy specifically related to addiction and mental health issues.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage patients empathetically and without judgment.

• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and safeguarding patient confidentiality.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
