Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our modern surgical center located in the scenic Oyster Bay area, famous for its family-friendly atmosphere and vibrant community. Our facility operates Monday through Friday, offering a balanced work-life experience, free from weekend office hours and rare emergency calls. You’ll collaborate within a friendly and skilled team, including a supportive supervising physician who prioritizes quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dermatology Physician Assistant, you will:

• Work collaboratively with the supervising physician to deliver coordinated, high-quality dermatological care to our patients.
• Engage with the internal support team to ensure seamless patient management and satisfaction.
• After completing your training, take the lead in patient care, conducting initial assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Assist in various dermatological surgical procedures and manage post-operative follow-ups to monitor patient recovery.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist in clinic operations as needed to maintain an efficient workflow.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of individuals of all ages seeking consultations for various skin concerns, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer screenings. Our focus is on fostering strong patient relationships through empathy and understanding, ensuring patients feel comfortable and confident in their care journey.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant License in New York is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program is essential for this role.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare is preferred, we value dedication and a willingness to learn more than years served. Experience with EMR systems is a plus, as it enhances your efficiency in documenting patient records and managing appointments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 95,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition, benefits include:
