Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Mobility Physical Rehabilitation Inc., your duties will include:

• Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by thoroughly managing the therapeutic process for an assigned patient group, closely coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to inform the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that goals are patient-driven and engagement-focused.
• Utilizing your expertise to provide most of the therapy needed by patients, offering support through the complete continuum of their care journey.
• Executing evaluations and therapeutic interventions within the defined scope of practice, while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Monitoring and assessing patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional statuses, actively participating in crafting their total care plans.
• Administering skilled therapy treatments at patients' homes, applying techniques that align with the prescriptive plan established by overseeing physicians.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on the use of therapies, exercises, and devices necessary for effective recovery and continued practice outside of direct therapy sessions.
• Prioritizing and managing your caseload effectively, determining daily staffing requirements and ensuring smooth operational hand-offs within the care team.

Qualifications

To be considered for this Physical Therapist position, candidates must hold:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or obtain it within 30 days from the start date.
