Key Responsibilities

• Provide top-tier orthopedic physical therapy services to a diverse range of patients, ensuring a comprehensive approach to assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.
• Develop customized treatment plans that take into account each patient's specific needs, goals, and medical history, employing clinical reasoning and patient-centered care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices as well as the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques to maximize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other health professionals, to provide seamless and coordinated care for every patient.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, effective home exercise programs, and self-care strategies to foster independence and empowerment in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient caseload will encompass individuals of all ages requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. You will address various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. By effectively assessing and treating these patients, you will have the opportunity to significantly improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure/certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in orthopedic evaluation and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.
• Specialization or focused experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desired.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, which are vital for documenting patient progress and treatment plans efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
