Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, guiding the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Engage in collaborative care meetings, alongside case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a coordinated approach to each client’s treatment.

• Actively participate in crisis intervention situations with clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing your expertise to offer immediate support and stabilization.

• Contribute to community outreach initiatives, advocating for mental health awareness and engagement in community wellness programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse client base, including individuals across various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This position allows you to expand your clinical skills and understanding, as you work with clients facing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.

Qualifications\n

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport and trusting relationships with clients.

• Strong cultural competence, enabling effective engagement with clients from various backgrounds.
\n
• Proficient organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required. Experience in community mental health settings, group therapy, or trauma-informed care will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
