Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs, ensuring to create tailored treatment plans in accordance with their specific circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and case managers, to ensure an integrated approach to client care, sharing insights and updates regularly to best serve our clients’ needs.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients’ families, equipping them with tools and knowledge to support their loved ones effectively throughout their recovery journey.
\n
• Maintain precise, up-to-date client records while adhering to ethical guidelines and regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance in all interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients within hospice care, many of whom face significant emotional and psychological challenges related to their diagnosis. You will work with patients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and ensuring their comfort during the therapeutic process. Your efforts will help not only clients but also their families, fostering an environment where everyone can navigate the complexities of mental health during end-of-life care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
\n
• Two years of demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, with evidence of specialized training or robust knowledge in this area.

• A strong grasp of clinical practices and tools relevant to mental health therapy.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and teams, coupled with strong communication skills for effective collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or similar settings is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

• Prior experience in providing therapy to individuals facing grief and loss is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of $60,000 to $104,000, commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications.
