Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to identify and evaluate each client’s unique mental health needs.

• Developing, implementing, and revising personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and evidence-based practices.

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions that utilize therapeutic modalities suited to each client’s circumstances.

• Monitoring clients’ progress closely, adjusting treatment strategies when necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborating with a network of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff to ensure comprehensive and holistic treatment.

• Documenting assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes meticulously, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role, you will work predominantly with a diverse population experiencing a wide range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related conditions, and more. Our clients come from various demographics, including different socio-economic backgrounds, ages, and cultures, requiring our counselors to be adaptable and culturally aware in their approach.

Qualifications\n

To thrive in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in California (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).

• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to individuals with mental health challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong therapeutic alliances with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experiences would be advantageous:

Compensation and Benefits\n
