Key Responsibilities\n

Your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks that contribute to effective client care:

• Deliver culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse counseling to individual clients and groups in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in case management activities, ensuring holistic support for clients by coordinating with case managers and collaborating with both internal and external service providers.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records as required by RAMS policies, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and facilitating seamless case continuity.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention as necessary, utilizing evidence-based techniques to stabilize and support clients in distress.

• Participate actively in case conferences and clinical team meetings to review client progress, address challenges, and brainstorm solutions.
\n
• Engage in both individual and group supervision, contributing to the ongoing development of counseling practices and techniques.
\n
• Complete psychological assessments and generate comprehensive reports that include vocational recommendations tailored to client capabilities and understanding.

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and recommend appropriate counseling or work assignments.

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support overall clinic operations and client management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Accurate Connection Counseling, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with complex mental health issues and co-occurring disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, PTSD, and trauma-related conditions. Your interventions will not only focus on therapeutic counseling but also on addressing the social determinants of health that impact your clients’ well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid mental health license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations is required.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience with a range of psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with various mental health disorders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and a high level of client interaction.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster client engagement and rapport.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party documentation.
