Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Great Lake Behavioral Center, you will:

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that promote peer support and mutual understanding among clients, helping them to navigate their individual journeys.

• Provide individualized therapy that addresses the specific emotional and behavioral challenges faced by clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and developing tailored action plans.

• Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive treatment plans that set attainable goals, ensuring that their preferences and needs are prioritized.

• Monitor client progress through detailed assessments and feedback, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating regularly with colleagues to coordinate care, discuss cases, and share insights on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are navigating various mental health concerns. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• A valid and active LPC license in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n
