Work Environment\n

This full-time role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, combined with opportunities for face-to-face interactions when needed at our outpatient office in Irvine. Counselors will maintain a structured schedule, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM while benefiting from a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and innovative problem-solving in mental health care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify mental health needs and facilitate referrals to community-based resources tailored for families.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families to address specific psychosocial stressors.

• Document clinical interactions meticulously, including medical and psychological histories, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

• Educate multidisciplinary team members about clients’ needs and challenges to drive integrated care strategies that promote positive outcomes.

• Work effectively in a crisis-driven environment, utilizing knowledge in areas such as substance use disorders, domestic violence, trauma-informed care, and general mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, providing mental health services to individuals facing a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. Our focus is on fostering a supportive environment for clients and their families, enabling them to overcome barriers to their well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services, ideally within an outpatient or community setting, is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

• More than one year of experience working with diverse populations in a clinical setting.

• Background in crisis intervention or emergency mental health services.

• Specialized training in trauma-informed care, family therapy, or substance abuse counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
