Greenford Valley Consultation and Counseling Center is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LCSW) to join our full-time outpatient team in Garden Grove, California. Work Environment\n

This position will be primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work from the comfort of your home while also participating in in-person sessions as needed. Our modern outpatient office is equipped with advanced telehealth technology, ensuring seamless communication with patients and team members. The work schedule generally runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to enhance patients' mental health outcomes.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at fostering community, resilience, and coping skills among patients.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff to provide integrated patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to patients experiencing acute mental health difficulties.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and community resources to empower them on their recovery journey.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes a diverse group of individuals and families dealing with various mental health conditions, primarily in the Garden Grove area. We serve patients from different cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and age groups, from adolescents to senior citizens. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW in the state of California is mandatory.

• Strong understanding and knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and effective therapeutic approaches.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
