Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to analyze the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients. Use standardized assessment tools to gather pertinent data for treatment planning.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans addressing their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, ensuring a personalized approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and adapt techniques to meet the evolving needs of clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in managing their mental health.

• Track and monitor clients’ progress meticulously, conducting regular reviews and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their feedback and clinical outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to develop a cohesive treatment strategy that incorporates medication management, providing comprehensive care.

• Continuously update knowledge regarding the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
