Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various physical ailments, disabilities, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic techniques and self-management strategies for their condition.
• Document all evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient care, including providing consultations regarding patient care pathways.
• Engage in continuous professional development through attending training sessions, workshops, and in-services.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and other clinical support personnel.
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote health and wellness, and assist in marketing efforts for the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Atmore Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, athletes in rehabilitation, and patients managing chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring that all patients feel valued and understood, regardless of their age, culture, or background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with electronic healthcare record systems and word processing software.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Atmore Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
