Key Responsibilities\n \n Manage a caseload of young clients, ensuring to establish rapport and nurturing professional relationships while upholding ethical boundaries. \n Conduct regular sessions to monitor progress, discuss stability, and plan subsequent appointments or discharges as needed. \n Create, implement, and oversee person-centered treatment plans to address individual client needs, integrating evidence-based practices. \n Document clinical encounters meticulously, maintaining thorough and accurate progress notes and intake assessments for each client. \n Engage in supervision sessions regularly to enhance skills and receive ongoing support for clinical decision-making. \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery tailored to each client’s needs. \n Adopt a growth mindset, remaining open to learning and improvement in clinical practices and client interactions. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be on young individuals experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. You will apply your expertise to develop strong therapeutic alliances, enabling clients to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. This role requires an understanding of youth development and mental health challenges specific to children and adolescents, ensuring that interventions are not only effective but also relatable to younger clients. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field is required. \n Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey. \n Capability to satisfy internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings. \n At least one year of practical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations. \n Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy. \n Strong technical skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic keyboarding abilities. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working in telehealth settings and using virtual therapy platforms. \n Background in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. \n Demonstrated ability to engage youth in therapy and utilize creative therapeutic techniques tailored for a younger audience. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
