Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet their unique needs.
• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, including techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, drawing on resources and expertise from different areas of the organization.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and workshops to keep abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at our center, you will work with a diverse population that includes adults, children, and families experiencing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. You will play a pivotal role in fostering resilience and empowerment in your clients while helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental healthcare.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred, as these competencies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience delivering care via digital channels will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, which is complemented by additional performance-based bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for continued professional development.
