Work Environment

Located in the heart of Fords, NJ, our rehabilitation center operates on a full-time basis, typically requiring 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities.

• Provide consultation to other healthcare providers regarding the continuum of care for patients, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory laws, professional standards, and internal documentation protocols for patient treatments.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress toward goals, submitting charges for services rendered.
• Monitor and guide support staff, ensuring efficient resource management and fostering a team-oriented environment.
• Engage in community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and program development to enhance care delivery.
• Participate in staff training and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily treat a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain management cases. Your role focuses on assessing individual needs and providing compassionate care tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas of rehabilitation or advanced therapeutic techniques will be given preference. Experience in a community-focused facility is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
