Work Environment

This position is offered onsite in our Perth Amboy facility, ensuring you will engage directly with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals. You will work alongside two other skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant in a dynamic and interactive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify each patient's physical therapy needs and set achievable goals based on those assessments.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, with a patient intake of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused therapy sessions.
• Craft comprehensive and effective treatment plans utilizing various evidence-based interventions such as manual therapy, functional training, and therapeutic exercises.
• Implement cost-effective rehabilitation strategies to alleviate pain, increase mobility, and promote recovery.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-management strategies to reduce dependence on medication and potential surgeries.
• Design and adapt individual fitness and wellness programs for patients, maintaining alignment with their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
• Foster open communication with patients and their families to motivate and encourage them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and successful outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Life Point Physical Therapy primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance seeking specialized orthopedic care. Our cases encompass a variety of conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and pre- and post-operative care. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid physical therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Maintains a clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions related to licensing.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and the creation of effective exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software to manage patient documentation and records efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Strong skills in patient motivation techniques and education strategies specific to rehabilitation.
• Interest in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
