Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide telehealth mental health services tailored to the unique needs of students in various educational settings.

• Assess and document the medical necessity of services provided, supporting clients’ entry into appropriate programs.

• Implement a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic techniques to address mental health conditions effectively.

• Research, refer, and advocate for community resources including social services, educational support, and healthcare access to enhance student well-being.

• Respond in real-time to crisis situations, including child abuse and mental health emergencies, providing immediate intervention and support.

• Monitor client progress post-intervention, ensuring follow-up and adaptation of treatment plans as needed.

• Assist clients in navigating life changes such as illness, family dynamics, or transitional phases, providing coping strategies and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents, many of whom may face challenges related to mental health, trauma, or behavioral issues. You will use your expertise to create a safe, trusting environment, enabling students to express their feelings and navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Education : A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• A valid and active LCSW license.
\n
• Experience : At least two years experience in providing mental health services, with a preference for candidates who have worked in educational or health-related settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
