Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where you will engage directly with patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional orthopedic physical therapy services, conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating effective treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Design, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes, taking into account each patient's medical history, goals, and progress.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, advanced therapeutic modalities, and innovative rehabilitation techniques to assist patients in minimizing physical limitations.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate patient care and enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective techniques for injury prevention, self-care methods, and home exercise programs to promote independence and health maintenance.
• Document patient progress and outcomes meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to strive for continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients range from children to older adults, all experiencing various orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility issues. You will play a crucial role in helping these individuals regain strength, mobility, and confidence as they return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
• Current valid state licensure/certification as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is required.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment, treatment skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience

Experience specifically focused on orthopedic rehabilitation and a familiarity with modalities and therapeutic exercises unique to this patient population are highly preferred. Additional certifications in manual therapy techniques or specialized orthopedic treatment approaches will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

Sutter Physical Therapy, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of USD 110,000 to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications, alongside a robust benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
