Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs and recovery goals.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the patient care team to manage and implement therapeutic care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver comprehensive physical therapy treatments, assessing progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Supervise and carry out patient therapies, providing guidance and instruction to physical therapy assistants as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, including the proper use of therapeutic appliances and exercises.
• Manage your caseload efficiently by prioritizing daily tasks, coordinating staff assignments, and ensuring seamless patient transitions.
• Conduct at-home therapy sessions when required, maintaining high standards of care beyond the clinical setting.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse population and engage with each patient to empower them in their healing process, ensuring they actively participate in their care and recovery. This hands-on role allows you to foster meaningful relationships with patients, providing individualized care that addresses their unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
