This role is conducted entirely through telehealth, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while providing them access to essential mental health services. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some ability to adapt depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment strategies that address individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience building, drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities.

• Deliver effective individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated care that prioritizes holistic wellness for every patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed presence in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources, enhancing their understanding and empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Document patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans meticulously in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of records.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, actively contributing to our ongoing growth in trauma-informed practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, applying this knowledge to refine treatment approaches and improve patient outcomes.

Your primary focus in this role will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor towards all clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
