Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual therapy sessions to clients experiencing symptoms related to major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to their needs.

• Evaluate the mental health and emotional needs of clients through brief screenings, followed by more in-depth assessments when necessary, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client’s situation.

• Document case notes and treatment plans meticulously while ensuring timely completion of reports and submitting required data for organizational reviews.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and team members to set and achieve performance goals and improve client outcomes, particularly focusing on empowerment and informed choices.

• Offer telehealth services while being accessible for on-call coverage during and after program hours, adapting to client emergencies as needed.

• Actively participate in agency committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and driving quality improvement initiatives across our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will primarily engage with a broad spectrum of individuals from various backgrounds, including those experiencing mental health challenges due to socio-economic factors, trauma, and other stressors. The therapist will need to demonstrate a cultural competence that aligns with our mission to support under-served clients, incorporating sensitivity to their unique experiences and providing tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current California licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is essential.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with the ability to engage clients effectively through virtual platforms.

• Demonstrated organizational skills to ensure timely documentation and compliance with agency practices.

• Competency in addressing developmental needs specific to age groups and specialties represented in our client base.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
