This position is uniquely tailored for a remote work setting, allowing you to deliver high-quality mental health services from the comfort of your home while maintaining a robust connection with our outpatient office team. While the primary work setting is remote, our office in Rockford provides a collaborative hub for team meetings, training sessions, and special events. You will enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, with work hours typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, while also having some flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of each patient, guiding the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to offer therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate supportive psychoeducational groups that provide a safe space for clients to share experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, assuring patients receive the necessary support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions and treatment options, as well as guide them towards valuable community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Actively participate in team discussions, case consultations, and continuing education to refine your skills and stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated capability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a variety of populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technological applications relevant to mental health practice.
