Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand client needs and craft tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to help clients understand and manage their mental health conditions.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services when clients face mental health emergencies, providing essential support and stability.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health issues, treatment strategies, and resources available within the community.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation according to legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through team meetings, training sessions, and continuous education programs.

• Stay updated with current research and best practices related to mental health therapy to enhance treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on a broad spectrum of mental health issues, serving a diverse client base that includes varying age groups and backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to positively influence the lives of individuals dealing with stress, trauma, and mental health disorders, working towards their emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and proven proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to provide group and individual therapy to a diverse population.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills along with sound professional judgment.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with various computer applications relevant to therapy practices.

• A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in remote therapy practices and familiarity with telehealth platforms is preferred.

• Additional certifications in therapeutic modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
