Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via secure video chat, adhering to ethical practices and confidentiality.
• Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to each client's unique needs to foster meaningful progress and healing.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of your clients’ well-being.
• Facilitate conversations that help clients gain insights into their feelings and relationships, guiding them towards self-discovery and emotional resilience.
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment, adjusting plans as necessary and introducing healthy coping strategies to address their issues effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. This may include anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and personal trauma. Your role is crucial in helping these individuals build the skills and insights necessary to improve their daily lives and overall mental health.

Qualifications

To thrive in this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Licensing: Candidates must hold a full and unrestricted license to practice independently, including one of the following:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Proven ability to maintain a non-disciplinary record without any restrictions or provisional licensing.
• Diverse backgrounds of exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to client welfare.
• Proficiency in technology and digital platforms, ensuring seamless communication and case management.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with various treatment modalities and a strong ability to work independently are also beneficial for success in this role.
