Business Development Representative (BDR), LATAM (Brazil/Portuguese)

Cloudflare Area 1 Security

Location Austin, TX Work Schedule Hybrid position: Austin office three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday) from 9 AM to 4 PM. Language Requirement Fluent (Business Level) in Portuguese required. Role Overview Drive business growth and expand Cloudflare’s customer base by identifying and nurturing opportunities through proactive outreach and effective lead qualification. Day‑to‑day Responsibilities Prospect and research potential leads or target accounts Initiate outbound calls to introduce Cloudflare products and services Qualify leads based on interest, budget, authority, and fit Build relationships and rapport with potential customers Develop in‑depth knowledge of Cloudflare offerings Manage and update CRM with accurate information Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified opportunities Meet or exceed set targets and KPIs Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions Provide regular reports and insights to managers and team members Preferred Qualifications and Experience Minimum 6 months of professional experience in outbound sales or business development Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets Foundational knowledge of computer networking and how the internet works Strong self‑starter with motivation and drive Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing) Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com and familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or outreach tools (Outreach.io, Salesloft) preferred Excellent communication and follow‑up skills Capacity to multitask, prioritize, and manage time in a fast‑paced environment Adaptability, resilience, and a positive attitude toward rejection or objections Desire to progress within Cloudflare’s sales functions Quick grasp of technical concepts and terminology Willingness to travel within the United States and/or Canada as required Key Metrics for Success Make a minimum of 50 outbound calls per day Send a minimum of 30 targeted emails per day using Salesloft Generate 5+ qualified opportunities per week via calls, email, and social outreach Actively manage and progress sales cadences (Salesloft) Ensure timely follow‑up on all leads or inquiries within 24 hours Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM data at all times Receive positive feedback from team members or managers Equal Employment Opportunity Cloudflare is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all individuals.
