This position is fully remote, allowing counselors to work from their preferred location while engaging with clients in a convenient, virtual outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients utilizing video chat, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for open discussion.

• Guide clients in discussing their emotions, past experiences, and current challenges to foster greater self-awareness and healing.

• Assist clients in establishing and achieving their therapeutic objectives through tailored action plans and consistent monitoring of progress.

• Identify and address maladaptive behaviors that may hinder the client’s recovery process, offering evidence-based strategies to facilitate positive change.

• Propose healthy coping mechanisms and self-care practices that clients can integrate into their daily lives.

• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs and achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily consist of stable adults who are experiencing low to moderate levels of emotional distress and are seeking support for various mental health concerns. They may be individuals who have avoided traditional therapy settings or those for whom in-person therapy is not a viable option. By utilizing telehealth, we aim to reach diverse populations and provide critical support for their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Must hold an independent license to practice in California, including LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW—provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to facilitate strong therapeutic relationships.
\n
• A compassionate disposition with strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.
\n
• Proficient with technology, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a counseling capacity with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management is preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy methods and ethical guidelines in virtual care will be beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Attractive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
