Key Responsibilities

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive dermatological care within the scope of practice as designated by a supervising physician.
• Ability to work independently while recognizing when to consult with a supervising physician, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Managing a patient load of over 30 patients per day, efficiently documenting all patient interactions and treatment plans in the EMA system.
• Providing guidance and direction to clinic staff, fostering a collaborative team environment that enhances productivity and patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population, ranging from individuals with chronic skin conditions to those seeking cosmetic enhancements. You will be responsible for educating patients about their skin health, treatment options, and long-term care strategies, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

To be a successful candidate, you should meet the following qualifications:

• An active Nurse Practitioner state license.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with specialization in dermatology or a related field.
• Board certification as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-BC) or equivalent.
• Proven proficiency in dermatological procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy, demonstrating hands-on skills to treat various skin conditions effectively.
• Strong understanding of dermatological treatments and medical terminology necessary for effective communication and documentation.

Preferred Experience

Qualified candidates should possess at least 1-2 years of experience in a dermatological setting. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, especially EMA, is a significant advantage. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 125,000 to 190,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
