Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments using standardized tools to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into account their unique backgrounds, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions tailored to mood disorders.

• Offer psychoeducation and supportive guidance to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to enhance outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a unified approach to client care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, applying new knowledge to improve therapeutic practices.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in documentation and record-keeping.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development to refine clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, catering to a diverse client base that includes varying ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. Your focus will be on building therapeutic relationships that empower clients to navigate their challenges and achieve lasting mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is essential.

• Strong foundational experience in clinical settings with a deep understanding of mood disorders and their complexities.

• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT, particularly regarding their application to mood disturbances.

• Effective communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
