Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule tailored to meet the needs of our clients, primarily students within a school environment. As a member of Alivia’s integrated care team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and experience to conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop independent treatment plans for students.

• Create patient-centered treatment plans tailored to individual students' needs, involving collaboration with parents and school staff.
\n
• Employ evidence-based techniques such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation to deliver high-quality interventions.
\n
• Monitor and document students' progress toward treatment goals, adapting interventions based on observed outcomes.
\n
• Support the coordination of care with other mental health professionals, including school psychologists and community health providers, ensuring a seamless approach to student wellbeing.
\n
• Assist in the management of any prescribed psychotropic medication, actively engaging families in discussions about adherence and monitoring potential side effects.
\n
• Be available to address urgent behavioral issues, providing crisis intervention and support as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support a diverse student population within a school setting, ranging from elementary to high school students. Many of these students face various challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between educational success and mental health, enabling students to thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted LCSW license to practice independently in the state of California.

• A minimum of one year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, with an emphasis on providing psychological support in educational settings preferred.
