Work Environment

This full-time position is remote, allowing for a balance between professional responsibilities and personal life. Working primarily from home, you will connect with clients through virtual platforms, ensuring that you can provide support no matter where you are. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based therapies.
• Engage with clients through various modalities such as solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and motivational interviewing, tailoring approaches to fit client needs.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, documenting their responses to therapy and adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team, including primary care physicians and mental health providers, to foster a holistic approach to patient care.
• Support clients in understanding and adhering to psychotropic medications by discussing treatment effectiveness, potential side effects, and encouraging compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Second Chance Marriage and Family, Inc., you will primarily work with individuals and families in a hospice center environment, providing emotional support and grief counseling. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of loss and change, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and cared for during challenging times.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current and valid license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating proficiency in clinical practice.

Preferred Experience

Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with grief and loss counseling methodologies. Candidates who have utilized telehealth platforms for consultations are also preferred, given the remote nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits
