Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations, using standardized diagnostic tools and your clinical expertise to identify mental health needs specific to each client.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant techniques.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adapting your approach based on the unique circumstances of each patient and their support system.
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration, working closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other health care providers to deliver comprehensive care and monitor client progress regularly.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients in acute distress, ensuring a safe and therapeutic response during emergencies.
• Participate actively in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and foster broader community engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By providing culturally competent care, you will help clients navigate their challenges while fostering resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications

• A valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and establish therapeutic relationships with a broad range of clients.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and a deep understanding of the diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds of the population served.
• Proficient organizational and time management abilities, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health settings or with populations experiencing barriers to mental health care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used for documenting client interactions and treatment progress.
• Previous involvement in community advocacy or mental health education initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
