Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat to help clients improve their mental well-being.
• Foster a safe and trusting environment for clients to discuss their emotions, experiences, and insights.
• Evaluate clients' mental health status, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective therapeutic approaches based on client needs.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in setting realistic and achievable goals for personal growth and well-being.
• Utilize a solution-focused approach in therapy sessions, integrating evidence-based practices that promote positive outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with carefully screened clients who are stable adults experiencing low acuity mental health issues. Patient intake processes ensure that you will not encounter severe mental health cases, allowing you to focus your expertise on clients aligned with your therapeutic specialties. We prioritize a strong fit between counselors and clients based on mutual demographic preferences to enhance therapeutic engagement.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently without supervision as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions will be accepted.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficient computer skills to navigate therapy platforms and digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience

Experience in teletherapy and familiarity with digital therapy platforms is highly desirable. An established history of working with adult clients in a counseling capacity may also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range between USD 50,000 – 70,000 based on hours worked and client volume.
