Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, drawing upon your clinical expertise to ensure effective care.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to support patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress in a detailed and timely manner, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Conduct thorough patient education sessions, teaching home exercise programs and strategies for injury prevention and lifestyle modifications to bolster long-term health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and maximize treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation following joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. Our diverse patient population includes athletes of all ages, active adults, and seniors, all of whom benefit from a tailored rehabilitation plan that addresses their unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families, fostering a motivational environment.
