Work Environment

As a Physician Assistant at Prime Health Family Clinic, you will work on-site at our modern surgical center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth medical evaluations and pain assessments to accurately diagnose the origins of patients' pain, taking into account physical, psychological, and social influences.
• Develop customized treatment plans utilizing a blend of medical, pharmacological, and non-pharmacological strategies aimed at effective pain management.
• Provide continuous care for patients with chronic pain conditions, focusing on functional improvement, pain reduction, and enhanced quality of life through tailored interventions.
• Address acute pain issues related to injuries or surgical procedures by implementing evidence-based management techniques that prioritize patient comfort and promote healing.
• Administer and manage prescription medications for pain relief, weighing the benefits and risks while considering patient preferences and monitoring for side effects.
• Perform interventional procedures, including nerve blocks and epidural injections, to effectively address pain points when appropriate.
• Educate patients about their pain management options, self-care practices, and lifestyle adjustments, empowering them to take an active role in their treatment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR), documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, medical histories, and follow-up strategies in compliance with clinic standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, as well as those experiencing acute pain due to recent surgeries or injuries. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Compensation and Benefits
