Work Environment

This role will be performed on-site at our hospital facility, which is designed to facilitate comprehensive patient care. The typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday during regular business hours; however, flexibility in your schedule may be essential to meet the evolving needs of our patients. Occasionally, evening or weekend shifts may be required. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and detailed pain assessments to identify the underlying causes of patients' pain, putting emphasis on physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate a blend of medical, pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological strategies to effectively manage pain.
• Provide continuous care and support for patients with chronic pain conditions, focusing on enhancing functionality, minimizing pain intensity, and improving quality of life.
• Treat acute pain resulting from injuries, surgeries, or medical procedures, employing evidence-based practices to lessen discomfort and facilitate recovery.
• Prescribe and manage appropriate pain relief medications, considering potential risks and benefits while aligning treatment with patient preferences; monitor efficacy and any side effects.
• Perform and oversee interventional procedures such as nerve blocks and epidural injections, critical in managing pain effectively and improving patient outcomes.
• Engage in patient education regarding self-care techniques and lifestyle changes to empower them in their pain management journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), documenting all patient assessments, treatments, and recommendations to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting, particularly in pain management.

Compensation and Benefits
