Work Environment\n

The therapist will work within an outpatient office structure primarily from a remote setting, allowing flexibility in managing your workload. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While flexibility in scheduling may occasionally be required to accommodate the patient’s needs, we ensure a supportive environment that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive, ensuring to capture each patient’s unique experiences and personal history.

• Create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patients by employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider their unique cultural and personal contexts.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health issues, fostering resilience and healing in clients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to orchestrate well-rounded care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s health are considered.

• Offer vital crisis intervention and support during critical mental health emergencies, helping to stabilize patients and connect them with necessary resources.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation aligned with legal, ethical, and organizational standards to ensure compliance and facilitate continuity of care.

• Participate actively in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insight and learning from various perspectives to enhance team operations.

• Engage in continual professional development through cultural competency training sessions, staying abreast of current research and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of Texas is a must.

• A strong foundation in understanding various mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and cultural competence in therapy practices.
\n
• Experience delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy sessions, adept in modifying approaches based on patient feedback and progress.
\n
• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with the capacity to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with a varied clientele.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications for documentation and case management.
\n
• A commitment to uphold professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality as a norm in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Advanced training or certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
