Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that delve into each patient’s trauma history to determine effective treatment paths.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans tailored to facilitate trauma recovery, ensuring incorporation of resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients process and overcome their traumatic experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at empowering patients to develop coping mechanisms and promote overall healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating adeptness at managing high-stress cases while maintaining professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, practical coping strategies, and available resources to support their journey to recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and actively participate in ongoing professional training focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be trauma survivors facing a myriad of challenges, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on their lives by guiding them through the recovery process and helping them to rediscover their strength and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
\n
• Strong clinical knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic approach.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in using various computer applications.

• Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with intervention models specifically aimed at trauma recovery.

• A demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development in the field of mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
