Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with clients via video chat to assess and enhance their mental health status.

• Encouraging clients to explore their emotions and experiences, facilitating deeper self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.

• Acting as a client advocate, guiding them in defining personal goals and strategies to achieve them.

• Evaluating clients' mental health conditions and developing tailored treatment plans grounded in solution-focused methodologies, leveraging your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a pre-screened client base, characterized by stable conditions and low acuity. This ensures that you are engaging with individuals who are ready to benefit from therapeutic support without dealing with immediate crises. It allows you to concentrate on therapeutic growth and development rather than emergency interventions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, such as Marriage and Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling.

• An independent mental health license (not limited or provisional) issued by the state board, such as:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

• Strong professional judgment in evaluating, recommending, and implementing client treatment plans.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate approach in therapeutic settings.

• Proficient computer literacy, with the ability to utilize various online platforms and tools for client management.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified counselors are encouraged to apply, those with experience in teletherapy, trauma-informed care, or specialized knowledge in demographic or psychological areas will be prioritized.
