This is an onsite position within our rehabilitation facility, where you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and set specific, achievable goals in collaboration with them.
• Maintain a scheduled patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and focused treatment sessions.
• Develop and administer cost-effective therapeutic plans that promote improved mobility and function.
• Educate patients about non-pharmaceutical interventions to reduce their reliance on medications.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to formulate comprehensive and individualized treatment strategies.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs suitable for each patient's unique situation and recovery goals.
• Provide exceptional patient care grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Encourage motivation and adherence to treatment plans, helping patients maximize their functional capabilities.
• Improve clients' overall wellness by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care delivery and integrated treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, as well as individuals managing chronic conditions that impact mobility. You will have the opportunity to impact a diverse range of clients, from post-operative rehabilitation cases to those seeking preventative care and improved physical function.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is required (MPT or DPT).
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No record of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Experience administering physical therapy treatments through a variety of modalities and therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
