Our clinic spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced technology and therapeutic equipment designed to support effective treatment programs. As a privately-owned practice, we cater primarily to individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring personalized and attentive care.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a collaborative environment designed to promote learning, growth, and exceptional patient care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific needs and set realistic goals for recovery.
• Manage and treat a caseload of one patient per hour, providing individualized care and attention to each patient.
• Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' movement and functionality.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer physical therapy interventions aimed at reducing pain and restoring mobility.
• Encourage patient engagement and motivation throughout the rehabilitation process to foster optimal recovery outcomes.
• Employ cost-effective therapies to decrease reliance on pain medications and explore non-invasive alternatives.
• Document patient progress thoroughly, ensuring all patient care activities and outcomes are accurately recorded.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any interdisciplinary needs of the patients.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy best practices and integrate them into treatment protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including surgeries, injuries, and degenerative diseases affecting mobility and physical function. Our patient population includes active adults, athletic individuals, and senior patients seeking to improve their movement capabilities. Your expertise will play a crucial role in guiding patients towards their rehabilitation goals, including returning to work, sports, and daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Maintain a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or infractions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and developing exercise protocols tailored to individual needs.
• Experience working with EMR systems; familiarity with WebPT software is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to implement fitness and rehabilitation programs for diverse populations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate patients in their recovery journeys.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
