Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and improving muscle function, tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities using diagnostic tests for muscles, nerves, joints, and overall physical performance.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the appropriate execution of treatment plans and provide mentorship when required.
• Evaluate the home environment of patients in need of rehabilitation and suggest modifications to enhance their independence and quality of life.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy exercises, traction, massage, and other modalities as prescribed by physician referrals.
• Develop, review, and update care plans collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, actively participating in case conferences.
• Document all clinical findings meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• Instruct patients and families on rehabilitation techniques, the use of physical therapy devices, and home exercise programs to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain open communication with physicians and case managers regarding changes in patients' conditions and treatment progress.
• Serve as a patient advocate, emphasizing the values of integrity and clinical excellence in all aspects of the role.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• Proven track record of clinical competence as a Physical Therapist, with knowledge of both acute care and home health settings.
• Active CPR certification and valid driver's license.
• A strong commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in physical therapy, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation or home healthcare settings.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement effective therapeutic interventions based on patient assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

This Full-Time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
