Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and needs, ensuring a tailored approach to their treatment.
• Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans, utilizing a combination of therapeutic modalities, manual techniques, and exercises to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Provide hands-on therapy and guidance to patients during their rehabilitation sessions, closely monitoring their progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies, including at-home exercises and lifestyle modifications, to enhance their engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient demographic ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals facing mobility challenges due to chronic conditions. Your role will be vital in addressing specific orthopedic issues, providing not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional support, fostering trust, and offering a compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the state of Virginia to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation. New graduates who exhibit a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for the position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
